Outpost Terms and Conditions
These are the terms for using Outpost, the Gmail and Google Calendar desktop app. They are short on purpose. By installing or using Outpost you agree to them.

Who these terms are with
Outpost is published by Delacour, the trading name of Chris Mitchell, based in New Zealand. You can reach me at chris@delacour.co.nz.
Your licence
Outpost is free. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use it on your own computers. The app, the Outpost name and its design belong to Delacour. Do not resell, redistribute or reverse engineer it, except where the law allows you to.
Your Google account and your data
Outpost works with Google accounts you add to it. You must be allowed to use each account you add, and your use of Gmail and Google Calendar remains subject to Google's own terms.
Your mail, calendar and contacts stay yours. Outpost only acts on them as you direct. How your data is handled is set out in the privacy policy at delacour.co.nz/apps/outpost/privacy-policy.
Do not use Outpost to send spam, to break the law, or to get around Google's limits or security controls.
Updates and availability
Outpost updates itself. Features can change or be removed. Snooze and send later only run while Outpost is open, or the next time you open it, so do not rely on them for anything time critical. Google may change or limit its services, which can affect what Outpost can do.
No warranty, and limited liability
Outpost is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. An email client acts on data that matters: check before you delete or send, because I cannot undo those actions for you.
To the extent the law allows, Delacour is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data or lost profits from using Outpost. Because Outpost is free, Delacour's total liability for any claim is limited to NZ$100. If you are a consumer in New Zealand, nothing here limits rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Ending
You can stop using Outpost at any time by removing your accounts and uninstalling it. Delacour may stop offering Outpost at any time.
Changes, and the law
These terms can change. The date at the top of this page is when they last did, and using Outpost after a change means you accept the new version. A significant change will be announced in the app.
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the New Zealand courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
