Software & tools I use, and other things I recommend.

I’m a big believer in the right tool for the job. Here are some of the tools I use every day to get my work done.

Workstation

  • 16” MacBook Pro, M1 Max, 32GB RAM (2021)

Being to run multiple mobile simulators at once without my computer crapping out is night and day.

  • Logitech G915 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard - Tactile

I'm a avid gamer so having a mechanical keyboard is a must. But the low profile keys make it great for coding too.

  • Logitech PRO Wireless Mouse

Lightweight, wireless, low latency, comfortable, and has a great battery life.

Development tools

  • IntelliJ Webstorm

I’ve tried a lot of editors and IDEs over the years but I always come back to Webstorm. It’s just so fast and reliable. I can't stand how slow VSCode is and all of the weird keybindings.

  • Teardown

Teardown is used for all my debugging and development needs of my React Native apps. It's a custom tool that I built to solve my own problems when building React Native apps.

  • Warp Terminal

I dont use the AI features too much but I love the speed of the terminal and the autocomplete with the inline command editing.

  • Postman

Postman is used to test APIs and save requests for later.

Design

  • Figma

I use Figma for pretty much anything design related.

Productivity

  • Superhuman

Managing multiple email accounts is tricky at the best of times, but Superhuman makes it a breeze. The keyboard shortcuts are nice.

  • Notion

Notion is used for really anything, brain dumps to project planning, I just put it all here.
